The first stop is the morning walking tour in Aix-en-Provence.
The second stop is the afternoon walking tour of Arles.
AIX-EN-PROVENCE
From the Marseille cruise ship dock, we will first drive to Aix-en-Provence, a beautiful city north of Marseille with a population of about 140,000 people. We'll notice the statue of the well-known impressionist painter Paul Cézanne. Walking along the main street of Aix, named the Cour Mirabeau, we'll admire many magnificent architectural attractions, including ancient churches and mansions, as well as mesmerizing fountains and small cafés. After that we'll stop by the the Provençal market to savour the authentic and fresh local produce, as well as enjoy the ambiance of the south of France.
ARLES
At Arles, you will be able to discover and learn all about the Roman Empire as this was a pivotal city during Roman times. You can explore a wealth of museums and art galleries while soaking up the peace and culture. The ancient architecture is something to behold and your time spent here will be enhanced by your driver-guide who will enable you to maximise the experience.
Furthermore, the world-famous artist Van Gogh lived in Arles in 1888 and here you will find the Cafe Van Gogh, the Hotel-Dieu and many of the main landmarks that were prominent during his stay here. In total, he created around 300 paintings and drawings here too. The walk will also present you with the opportunity to explore the Amphitheatre, the Theatre, the Hotel de Ville, the Roman Bath and the Rhone River.
The tour doesn’t involve exploiting the Roman sites in detail, however, tickets can be purchased on-site should you wish to do so in your spare time.

We will meet you in the Cruise Terminal by the ship, around 30 minutes after your cruise ship docks, and the sight-seeing will begin.
The tour will last approximately 7-8 hours.
At the end of the day, we guarantee to drop you off at your ship at least one hour before the departure of your cruise ship.
Beverages, food, tickets for the boat-trips and tips are not included.
