We had such a wonderful tour with Jenny today! She was an absolute delight from start to finish — incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, intelligent, and genuinely passionate about the area. She made every stop so enjoyable and gave us great insight along the way without ever making the day feel rushed.
We especially appreciated how flexible she was with our time and what we wanted to see and do. She really tailored the experience to us, which made the entire day feel relaxed, personal, and memorable.
Jenny gave us such a great introduction to Marseille that we left wishing we had more time! We already can’t wait to come back and explore even more. We would absolutely recommend Jenny to anyone visiting Marseille. Thank you for such a fantastic day!
Our last day on our trip to Marseille was by far our favorite! Paul took us on a customized tour of Aix-en-Provence, Loumarin, Gordes, and Fountaine-de-Vaucluse. We planned very little in advance for this trip (including researching the area well), and thankfully our concierge at the Hotel Intercontinental booked this tour for us a few days in advance! Paul made the tour so special for us- he taught us all about the history of Provence and walked us around Aix-en-Provence and the villages. He stopped at a Lavender field on the way as well! Paul also called and booked us a table for lunch in Gordes. The scenery was beautiful and we had the most amazing time learning about Provence!! Thank you again!! I highly recommend if you’re planning a trip to Marseille/Provence.
What a fabulous day with Silvio our driver. Visiting Nice, Cannes and Monaco in one day was made achievable!!! Silvio shared interesting insights to each place and we had a nice amount of free time to explore at leisure. It was a long day but great value.

Our guide and driver, Paul, gave us all a very friendly welcome and so a group of strangers quickly became friends. Our day long outing was perfectly paced, with plenty of time in each place we visited to explore on our own or be shown the sights. Paul’s immense knowledge of and deep love for the region were immediately evident. He took us first to the beautiful village of Lourmarin which was just coming to life at the start of the day, and which we walked around as a group. With its old houses and shops, church and castle, it was the essence of old Provence. Then on to Roussillon with its famous red ochre soil and bustling market, with all the provisions for an impromptu lunch. We had plenty of time to explore on our own; the hilltop church was a particular joy to see, at the top of winding streets.
Then to Gordes, with a quick stop on the approach road for photos of the iconic view of this famous hilltop village. Again, plenty of time to explore this amazing place: another imposing castle and beautiful church, steep streets tumbling downhill, and a scenic square to sit in and enjoy a lavender ice cream.
Our final stop was Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, at the source of the river Sorgue where it rose from within a deep limestone cave. Again, Paul dropped us off in the centre of the village, signposting us to the many notable sights. Some of us walked upstream along the river as far as the path allowed, marvelling at the perfectly clear turquoise water, several waterfalls and the drama of the limestone gorge.
On the journey back to Aix-en-Provence, Paul pointed out lavender fields and famous vineyards amongst other interesting features, and we arrived promptly back on schedule. The minibus was comfortably air-conditioned; we were taken to places we would never have discovered by ourselves. The trip was the highlight of our holiday!
